All over again.

Submitted by Ribenaberry on

Well, as the title says, we are no longer pregnant - we had another missed miscarriage which was a little different than last time. We went for the early scan at 8 weeks to be told there was a 6 week old fetus and no heartbeat, but it could still be too early. So we phoned EPU the next day who told us to go in but wouldn't scan again and set us a date for a week later.

They then told us the baby had shrunk to 5 weeks and there was still no heartbeat but to rescan in a week to be sure - so there was yet another week from hell.

5+6

And all is well :D

And I hope it stays that way!!

Been getting waves of sickness, but it is not as bad as last time so that is worrying in itself - on the other hand I have bloated to the size of a house so it could just be my body getting used to the hormones!!

I registered with the midwife on Friday so hopefully she will phone next week and I will get my booking in appt. :D I am going to wait and see if she offers an early scan or not, if she does I will have one, if she doesn't I will wait :)

And the paranoia sets in!

We got our bfp on Saturday :)

So I am now 4+4 going from ov, and I am staring to get a few pre-af style cramps which are knocking my confidence somewhat! It always feels like my cervix is opening and that is what it feels like. I had it in the few days before I started bleeding last time, so I am not feeling very confident right now but I am okay with it. Whilst I am not bleeding there is hope all is okay!!

So I hope ot be able to update with midwife appts and scans soon :)

Come on spermies do your job!!!

 I think I have just ovulated, I got the awful stabbing pain in the left side which I have at OV everytime so fingers crossed I have OV'd this month and that those swimmers are lying in wait to catch it!!

We BD'd on Tues, Thurs, Fri and Sat, we rested last night  and are going to DTD tonight, tomorrow and Wed just to be on the safe side lol but I think now it is a waiting game!

I am on count down - 24th of Feb is the earliest I will test as I am going with a normal 28 day cycle even if I have OV'd early, and that is the day after AF is due! so only 17 sleeps to go

Month 2!

Submitted by Ribenaberry on

Well, we didn't get our BFP last month so we are onto month 2 of TTC :)

I did get some very funny evap lines on a lot of tests and at first I really thought I was pregnant, so I half think it might have been a chemical but I think I would rather that than go through the whole MC thing again!

CD11

Well I can put my hand on my heart and honestly say that CD 11 is a crappy CD lol!! Along with all the other CD's that come before ovulation haha!

I have stopped taking the EPO as of today, it was giving me cramps and I stopped on CD 10 when we made Z and still got tons of EWCM so figured there can be no harm this time either. We have so far BD'd on CD7 and CD9 and are hoping to be able to again today and every day now until wed which is when I am due to ovulate.

TTC has commenced!

It was CD 7 yesterday and me and hubby finally felt well enough between us to do some BDing, so we are now on track to making that sticky take home baby! (positive vibes and all that!)

I am not due to OV til next wed but we decided we might as well get some practice in H) plus I am paranoid we are going to miss it for some inexplicable reason so now I feel better that we are actually getting on with it lol!!

Starting again

Submitted by Ribenaberry on

I haven't updated for a long time, it's been a strange time over the past few months and it has taken some getting used to.

First of all I started to bleed very small amounts of brown blood on the 24th November at 10+2 so we went to the epu who scanned me and told us the baby only measured 7+6 and there was no heartbeat which came as a massive shock to both me and hubby. Getting used to being pregnant again and then being told it was all over was a little hard to take. I began bleeding properly on the 26th November and lost the baby that evening after a trip to a&e with heavy bleeding.

Starting to sink in

Submitted by Ribenaberry on

I think it is starting to sink in that we are going to have two babies! Z is only going to be 18 months when this one is born, still a baby really, and that is quite a scary thought.

We had a bad night last night, not sure what was wrong but she just lay in her cot and cried like she was still asleep, and would only stop if one of us was in the room with her, so I brought her in with us and then she would only sleep on me. Not sure how we are going to deal with things like that with a newborn - or with two babies who don't want to go to sleep!
