My God I swear my girls are going to have me in an early grave, double trouble is certainly an appropriate name at the minute. We are 2 weeks off their 2nd birthday and the temper tantrums and stroppiness has gotten a million times worse! What is really taking its toll on me is the way they can be so loving to me and each other one minute and the next izzy will have lizzy in a headlock and pulling her hair out! Seriously I'm thinking of giving them to wwe wrestling! they are also taken to standing on my feet lots which is proving very painful and my feet are getting rather bruised, I’m trying to show them its wrong but as yet I’m not seeing and improvement! A classic from them this morning was izzy putting her arms round lizzy for what I thought was a lovely cuddle and then undoing all the buttons on her top and pulling it off!! They are getting more and more cunning, working together to try and open the front door, I’ve told hubby the cat tree in the porch is going to have to go otherwise I’ll not be able to contain them in the house! the other thing I’ve noticed is that they don't like being told off and will cry or try to give mummy and daddy cuddles.

each day they seem to be getting more and more alike in looks which can be confusing and they are not helping matters we have progressed from pointing at each other when you say their names to pretending to be each other, this is causing no end of confusion at nursery... when asked to get their shoes the other day (which are different) they got each others and nursery said they spent most of the afternoon calling them the wrong name until one looked at them carefully and realised they were wearing each others shoes... when asked who's shoes had she got on lizzy gave the cheekiest grin and said belles!!! if they can do that now i dread to think what they'll be like in the years to come!!

I'm getting ready for the girls birthday and we are hoping for good weather as we are planning a teddy bears picnic in the garden with a few friends and family! my mum has baught them a playhouse which we though could be the 3 bears house and we've asked everyone to bring a teddy bear! we are just buying a few little bits as they are going to be spoilt by all their aunties uncles etc... its crazy!

I'll be glad of a day off tomorrow to clean the house and re-charge my batteries! the twins nursery is still open and we have to pay as its a day they would normal go so i'm sending them dressed as fairy princesses and i'll do all my jobs and hopefully have a nice long soak in the bath!
